I can’t believe how quickly time is flying in the new year. My grandmother once told me the older you get the faster time flies by. As with most things, she was right.
I hope you’re having a good January. I’ve been typing away on book 3 in my cozy mystery series, Spellbound in Mystic Hills. Over a three day weekend I wrote 10,000 words which is a new high for me. It was partly due to the fact that it was freaking freezing outside.
We had a wind chill of -27, which is just wrong. I waited til the wind chill was -10 to try and walk the dogs. Bad idea, I know, but dogs who normally get three walks a day don’t understand when the walkies stop. They tend to poop in the basement when you’re not paying attention…not that I can really blame them…anyway we walked down three houses and back. Not fun for anyone and yet they keep asking to go again. The canine brain is a peculiar thing.
Wherever you live, I hope you’re managing to stay warm. Might I suggest cuddling up with a cozy mystery like Murder in Mystic Hills, or Double Trouble in Mystic Hills if you’re looking for an excuse to stay inside. Happy Reading, my friends.
