This was an exciting, crazy summer. I got on a plane by myself and flew to Nashville for the #UtopYA2014 conference. It was awesome and inspiring and exhausting.
Then I took a plane to Las Vegas for the Entangled publishing conference. It was also awesome and inspiring and exhausting. I wish the two events hadn’t happened back to back because I think I sprained my brain.
After a few days of recovery, my debut book Going Down In Flames came out. I spent the first 48 hours online promoting and tweeting and sharing and tumbling and pinning. Not to mention compulsively checking Novel Rank to see if I’d sold a book in the last hour. Then I figured out how to check where I ranked in categories on Amazon which led to more compulsive behavior.
Going Down In Flames has been out for a month, and I am thrilled at the reviews I’ve received on Amazon and Goodreads. Of course, I’d love a few more if anyone would like to post one. 🙂
Burning Bridges, book 2 in my shape-shifting dragon series is on my editor’s desk. We’re hoping to release it early in 2015. I’m hoping for January. Next on my list of things to do is to develop my fan art page. If anyone has drawings they’d like to submit please leave a comment or contact me on Facebook  at https://www.facebook.com/chriscannonauthor
