This year I am practicing the fine art of Christmas shopping procrastination. It’s not entirely my fault. My nephews are all old enough that they want very specific things like games I’ve never heard of or skylander characters from games I’ve never heard of.
I’m about ready to cave and buy them gift cards with notes that read, “This is a flat two dimensional representation of (insert desired toys name).
My husband and I no longer try to buy each other Christmas gifts. We shop the Black Friday sales for tools or vacuums or whatever boring items we might need but don’t want to pay full price for during the rest of the year. We buy ourselves a few treats too. I bought the complete DVD collection of the Harry Potter movies which was on sale on Amazon for 26.99. And I might have bought a pair of shoes, or two.
How do you deal with Christmas shopping? Do you buy anything for yourself? Are you done yet?
